Library

AHH! I'm looking at my library at the moment IRL and it makes my heart oh so happy!! I saw this book page art project on @thebeachclassroom Instagram and knew immediately it was going above my library. It was truly the easiest project and is the centerpiece of my entire room.

I started by taking some old, damaged books and ripping pages and chapters out of them. I varied the amount of pages to add lots of texture and dimension. Then, I laid them out on the ground and loosely arranged how I wanted the pages to look on the wall. After I got an idea of what I wanted, I began stapling away! I put a layer of single pages up first and then added the chapters on top. I varied how I stapled the pages and added more until it looked complete to me! Let your creativity run wild!!!

My books are organized by the first initial of the author's last name. I first organized the books alphabetically and then added my book spine labels that are on Teachers Pay Teachers. Each label has a letter and a unique color. This keeps your library organized without even trying! Your students will always know where their book goes by matching the letter and color!!
